The hit youtube channel, “Pedo Punchers”, created by two conservative foster siblings in their 20s, have gained their fame by pretending to be underaged boys on Grindr, luring pedophiles to public locations, and exposing their identities online to hundreds of thousands of people. While collaborating with famous youtuber, Trey Thomspon, the group has the opportunity to catch a particularly dangerous predator -- they decide to use Trey’s 15-year old cousin as live bait. The play examines not only America’s obsession with the commodification of vigilantism, but also poses the question “To what extent is it possible to justify doing ‘bad’ things for the result of something ‘good’?”.
